U-Lees in Nob Hill to close.

U-Lee restaurant in Nob Hill will close after 28 years serving the neighborhood, the small Chinese location is yet another victim of rising San Francisco rents. Owner Kenneth Lee, whose parents opened the restaurant, has confirmed the closure. Kenneth say “Our lease has ended, and the new price we were asked to pay was too high,” he says. U-Lee’s will be open until Sunday, September 28th. How ever Kenneth is already at work on a new location at 36th and Balboa, which he plans to open in early 2015. But for now, head over to grab a last taste of those gigantic potstickers and other takeout fare before U-Lee shuts its doors in Nob Hill for the last time.
