You\u2019re invited to join us for the final open house for the<\/p>\n
Polk Streetscape Design Project!<\/div>\n
Since releasing the Preferred Alternative for roadway<\/div>\n
design in July, the project team has focused its attention<\/div>\n
on refining the roadway design concept and<\/div>\n
investigating options for public realm enhancements<\/div>\n
such as lighting, landscaping, bulbouts and alley<\/div>\n
improvements. The Planning Department, Department<\/div>\n
of Public Works, and SFMTA staff worked closely with<\/div>\n
neighborhood group leaders and advocates to identify<\/div>\n
community preferences, and investigated the feasibility<\/div>\n
and costs of these improvements. Please join to view<\/div>\n
plans and illustrations of the new design, and to<\/div>\n
celebrate all the work that has taken place to develop<\/div>\n
the design for Polk Street. City staff will be on-hand to<\/div>\n
answer questions and listen to your thoughts on the<\/div>\n
conceptual design.<\/div>\n
