Bomb squad search Russian Hill home after Dynamite found in drivers pickup.

 After Park police pulled over a pickup truck during a standard stop on Old Mason Street near Chrissy Field,  thinking possibly there was marijuana in the vehicle, the driver volunteered that he had some fireworks in the car. Turned out the fireworks was actually a stick of dynamite.  SFPD bomb squad were called in to safely dispose of the explosive, which they did by exploding it in a bomb proof container at the scene.A few businesses were evacuated during the operation.

 This then prompted Police to search the mans home on Vallejo Street in San Francisco. SFPD searched the home for about two hours & were seen carrying paper bags out of the apartment. The man is currently in SFPD custody.
