SFPD safety crackdown today on Van Ness!

Make sure you look left & right & that light is green, members of the SFPD will be watching & ticketing anyone who breaks the law this fine Wednesday. Not only for pedestrians who J-walk but also for motorist who brake the rules. The SFPD will be out in force (no pun intended) to make sure both walkers & drivers are taking greater care while on their morning & evening commutes. Four people lost their lives this year on Van Ness out of seven total in San Francisco.

The police operation will be targeting the city’s biggest hotspot for pedestrian accidents and fatalities, so its not just Van Ness Avenue. Be careful out there.
