San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee died early this Morning.

 The former civil rights attorney, Ed Lee, who became the first Asian-American to serve as San Francisco Mayor, died early Tuesday morning at Zuckerberg General hospital at the age of 65. The Mayor collapsed in a local Safeway at approx 1:00 am while grocery shopping with his wife Anita.

The Mayor who was well liked across the board is receiving lots of praise & condolences this morning from not only the Bay Area but also from across the country.

London Breed takes over as interim Mayor. There will be a news conference at 10 am this morning at City Hall.
