Description: RED DEVIL LOUNGE TRIBUTE AND BENEFIT FOR THE SAN FRANCISCO TWINS:
On Thur, Aug 30th 2012
The Red Devil Lounge is honored to present a night of cabaret hosted by Kitten on the Keys featuring jazz legend, Kim Nalley, the stars of San Francisco burlesque and a few other surprise San Francisco icons when we come together as a city to pay tribute and raise money to care for Marian and Vivian Brown, the world-famous San Francisco Twins. Last week, Mayor Willie Brown, asked the city to join him in helping the Brown Twins by donating to Jewish Family and Children’s Services. JFCS is one of the oldest and largest family service institutions in the United States, founded in 1850 by immigrant pioneers who arrived in California during the Gold Rush and created an extended family to care for each other. Thursday night, San Francisco’s extended family will do that. Suggested donations of $10, $25, $50 or $100.
