Blue Fog Market coming to Polk St.

Taking over the former location of Nob Hill Beverages on Polk and Sacramento streets, which did not actually last that long after their application for a beer and wine license failed to go through, is the Blue Fog Market. This is the same as the Blue Fog Market on Gough Street in San Francisco, as far as I know this is going to be their second store in the city after their Pacific Heights store closed.

Signage just went up a couple of days ago and work is on going inside to prepare for a yet to be determined opening date (might be as late as December). For those of you who have not visited the Gough location, you are in for a treat, Blue Fog has a fine menu which can be viewed here, Blue Fog Menu!

From what I gather they will focus on specialty sandwiches, coffee, and grab-and-go meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, just like their other location on Gough. Personally I think this is going to be a nice addition to the neighborhood. Sandwiches range around $9 at the Gough location, lets hope they stay the same here.

We will let you know when the new location is set to open as soon as we know.
